what is the roundup?

The Chicago Roundup is a weekend-long gathering of LGBTQIA+’s celebrating recovery and those interested in finding out what a life of recovery has to offer.

The Roundup provides thought-provoking panel discussions, engaging speakers, pure entertainment and an equitable fellowship opportunity for all. It’s intended to enhance your spiritual, emotional and sober life. And, offers the perfect opportunity to meet other recovering people from all over the world and make some wonderful new friendships in the process. The Round Up is hosted in the heart of North Halsted at the largest LGBTQIA+ Community Center in the Midwest, Chicago’s state-of-the-art Center on Halsted.

Scholarships available

Scholarship tickets are available to those who cannot afford to attend otherwise. With a scholarship the registration, banquet and entertainment are provided for free in exchange for 3 hours of your time to help out with the event.

What is the Center on Halsted?
Center on Halsted is the Midwest's most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of Chicagoland. More than 1,000 community members visit the Center every day, located in the heart of Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood.

Is lodging available for out of town registrants?
There are multiple boutique and chain hotels around the Center on Halsted in the Lakeview Neighborhood available. Future Chicago Roundup partner hotels will be announced soon so please return for additional details soon!

Do you offer scholarships?

How do I get to the Center on Halsted?
Air Travel - The Center is accessible with public transit from both O’Hare Airport (ORD) and Midway Airport (MDW) are our two Chicago airports.

Public Transport - Addison Red Line stop is the closest train stop. The #8 bus drops off at directly at the Center.

Parking - Street parking is limited in the area. We recommend using public transport or ride share.
